When Life Gets Hard, Don’t Forget God’s Faithfulness | Hebrews 3:7–11
Have you ever walked through a difficult season and found yourself focusing more on what hurts than on what God has already done?
In Hebrews 3:7–11, we’re reminded of the Israelites in the wilderness, a people who had witnessed God’s power and faithfulness, yet still struggled with discontentment, rebellion, and hardened hearts.
In this episode of in case i forget, we walk through Hebrews 3:7–11 and the Israelites’ experience at Massah and Meribah. We talk about the difference between bringing our honest questions and uncertainties to God and allowing our hearts to become hardened against Him.
Because sometimes, when life feels uncomfortable, we need to remember what God has already shown us about His character.
God is still faithful in the wilderness. He is still good when life is hard. And we don’t want the cares of this world to distract us until we slowly drift away from Him.

Moses is such an amazing character in God's great big story, but how great is he?
Today, we're jumping back into Hebrews 3 to talk about why Jesus has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, and why what Jesus did was enough.
In this episode, we're talking about Jesus being faithful to the Father who appointed Him, the difference between a servant and a Son, and what it means that Christ is faithful over God's house as a Son.
We're also going to talk about the house Jesus built. Moses was faithful in God's house as a servant, but Jesus came to fulfill what Moses could not. He didn't just give us the foundation. He gave us Himself, and He is the cornerstone of the house we are part of.
And y'all, this is not just Hebrews for the sake of reading Hebrews. This is the gospel for our lives today.

I share why I love the reminder to focus on Jesus rather than allowing the waves around us to pull our attention away from Him. Because while we may feel overwhelmed by everything we're trying to carry, we can trust the One who is holding us.
We'll also talk about what this passage means for us as busy wives, moms, and women trying to faithfully walk out the lives God has given us.

I’m sharing some of the places where I’ve personally found friendship, from a breastfeeding support group after having my son, to hobbies, book clubs, pickleball, pen pals, library programs, and church. Some of these opportunities are free, and some take a little more intentionality, but they all have something in common: they put you in spaces with people who are also looking for connection.
We’ll talk about why picking up a hobby can be more than just learning something new, how writing letters can create unexpected connection even from hundreds of miles away, and why church is about more than simply attending a service.
And I want you to remember this:
There are places all around you with people who are looking for people like you.
You may have to put in some work. You may have to walk into a room where you don't know anyone. You may have to open the door before you know exactly what will happen.
But you are not alone.
